When going to college, there comes a social aspect that most students look forward to experiencing. This worldwide pandemic has ripped that experience out of many students hands. In many way this can be detrimental to a students mental health and coping mechanisms. How has the social isolation due to the COVID-19 affected students mental health as well as exacerbating the dangers to social isolation.  In what ways can universities be more interactive even though everything is virtual? The scholarly article I decided to focus on today was a study examining the effects of Covid-19 on undergraduate students' mental health. This study was done on a total of 164 students and was conducted through a cross sectional survey. These questions in the survey consisted of demographics including, behavior changes, mental health, everyday difficulties, and overall information on Covid. In this study it was found that “ In multivariable models, students other than freshmen were more likely to report higher levels of anxiety” ( Kecojevic) . Because these students were experiencing physiological symptoms due to the outbreak, more than likely these feelings would result in “somatization” which is when psychological symptoms that result in physical symptoms such as aches and pains in the joints and other areas depending on the person.  When assessing students somatization, depression, and anxiety, the researchers used “BS1-18 (Brief Symptom Inventory)” which was used to record th
